Virginia Tech (-2.5) vs. Rutgers
Rutgers looked primed to be headed to their first ever BCS bowl just a month ago. Then they dropped their final two games, including a 2nd half meltdown against Louisville in the de facto Big East championship game. So Orlando wasn't exactly the destination that the Scarlet Knights had in mind. Virginia Tech underachieved all season. There was a lot of turnover in Blacksburg, but this Hokies team needs to rebuild following a 6-6 season. Virginia Tech can do this quickly based on their reputation over the past 20 years. A win here would help their cause. I just don't think this Hokie squad has it in them.
