NBA - 1st Quarter

We have now reached the quarter point in the NBA season. For the most part, the teams that we expected to be good have been and the teams we have expected to be bad have been. There have been a few surprises, none more notable than the struggles of the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers are just 10-14 and have looked bad in every aspect of the game. I picked the Lakers to dethrone the Heat in the preseason. That's looking a little far-fetched at the moment. But remember, Miami took awhile to mesh when LeBron and Bosh first joined forces with D-Wade. I am still confident that once Steve Nash returns to health, the Lakers will make some noise during this NBA season. Here is a look at how the NBA season could play out based on current standings and projections of the rest of the regular season. (Projected playoff teams in bold)
