19 TCU (-10.5) vs. Louisiana Tech
The Poinsettia Bowl landed itself a couple of conference champions for the 2010 edition. TCU was perfect in their final season in the Mountain West. This was the 2nd year in a row that the Horned Frogs ran the table in conference play. They were hoping to get into a BCS bowl but did not qualify because they did not reach the Top 16 of the BCS standings. They take on the WAC-champion, Louisiana Tech. La Tech only played 2 ranked teams this season, and though they lost both, they were by a combined 3 points. I expect them to hang with a TCU squad that will be disappointed not to be playing on the big stage.
