6 Boise St. (-14) vs. Arizona St.
Both of these teams began the season with their sights on a destination other than Las Vegas. Boise had major BCS inspirations that fell through after a loss to TCU. But then they reappeared in the mix as a possible at-large selection. Despite being ranked 6th in the final Ringer Poll and 7th in the BCS, the Broncos were passed over yet again. On the other side, Arizona State appeared to be the clear favorite to represent the Pac-12 South in the conference championship game. Then they lost their last 4, forcing Dennis Erickson to be fired. Now they enter their bowl game without a Head Coach and a defense that faltered big time down the stretch. It will be interesting to see which of these teams will be up for this game. Chris Peterson always has his team ready to play and Kellen Moore will shred ASU through the air for 1 final win.
