We have now reached the quarter point in the NBA season. For the most part, the teams that we expected to be good have been and the teams we have expected to be bad have been. There have been a few surprises, none more notable than the struggles of the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers are just 10-14 and have looked bad in every aspect of the game. I picked the Lakers to dethrone the Heat in the preseason. That's looking a little far-fetched at the moment. But remember, Miami took awhile to mesh when LeBron and Bosh first joined forces with D-Wade. I am still confident that once Steve Nash returns to health, the Lakers will make some noise during this NBA season.
