How did this bowl end up on New Year's Day? Remember when playing on New Year's meant something? I guess those days are over. The Pokes saw injuries contribute to a disappointing finish to the regular season. They should regain some of their health by the bowl game. Purdue will have an interim head coach trying to slow down Oklahoma State's potent spread offense. The Boilermaker D can try all they want. They won;t be able to slow Oklahoma State enough to pull the upset.
