Pinstripe Bowl Preview

Kansas St. (Even) vs. Syracuse

This is the inaugural Pinstripe Bowl played at Yankee Stadium. The Syracuse Orange make their return to postseason play by traveling across their home state. Kansas St. leaves the Little Apple of Manhattan, Kansas for the Big Apple. Each team has had a resurgence of once proud programs. Doug Marrone has lead his alma mater out of the basement of a beleaguered Big East and surprised most experts by posting 7 wins. At Kansas State, Bill Snyder is attempting to return the Wildcats to the glory days of his first stint with the program. The Orange will need their stout defense to come to play to pull off a victory. K-State is lead by All-Big 12 RB Daniel Thomas. This game will come down to this key matchup and whether the Syracuse D can stop the K-State rushing attack.

Prediction - Syracuse 21 Kansas St. 19
