MLB Playoffs - World Series Prediction

Ringer's Record
LCS: 2-0
Playoffs: 6-2

I have picked every series in the MLB Playoffs correctly. See my postseason predictions at  http://ringersports.blogspot.com/2012/10/2012-mlb-playoffs-division-series.html. After missing on the 2 Wild Card games, I have been riding a hot streak. I had the Tigers and Giants each playing in their respective LCS before the season even began. Neither team has disappointed. The Giants have been pushed to the brink of elimination in both of their series, and have won an astonishing 6 consecutive games with their back up against the wall. The Tigers were forced to a winner-take-all game against Oakland, but breezed right through the Yankees with a 4-game sweep. Who has the momentum coming into the Fall Classic? We will see beginning tomorrow night. I see no reason to change my pick from when October began.

Prediction - San Francisco over Detroit 4-3

The San Francisco Giants will be pushed to the limit once again, but in the end walk away with their 2nd World Series title in 3 years. It's ironic that the Giants got homefield for this series. Melky Cabrera was the Giants best player earlier in the year. He won the All-Star Game MVP award and was later suspended for violating the league's PED policy. The Giants left him off of the postseason roster. Aside from that, Matt Cain was better than Justin Verlander to start that game. Who would have known that these players would be so instrumental in what would play out in the World Series? Ultimately, that homefield advantage will help the Giants become World Champions.
