NFL - Week 14 Predictions

Ringer's Record
Last Week ATS: 9-7
Last Week SU: 10-6

Season ATS: 94-98 (49%)
Season SU: 118-74 (61%)

We had our first division winners crowned last week as Atlanta, New England, and Denver all locked up their respective divisions. Houston could be the next. The Texans could potentially seal home field advantage throughout the playoffs if they win their Monday Night showdown in Foxboro and the Ravens and Broncos both lose. That is unlikely to happen since Denver plays at Oakland tonight. I on the other hand, have not had the same success as those teams. I had another winning week, but remain 4 games below .500 for the year. It is very possible for me to climb my way back to mediocrity this week. Here is how I expect Week 14 to unfold.

NCAA Football - Final Bowl Projections

In just a few short hours, everyone will know where their favorite team is headed for bowl season. Alabama beat Georgia in an epic SEC Championship to punch their ticket to Miami where they will play Notre Dame in the BCS National Championship. The Crimson Tide are in search of their 3rd national title in 4 years. The other conference championship games did not bring much excitement. Florida State, Louisville, Kansas State, Wisconsin, and Stanford also solidified their spots in a BCS bowl. Oregon and Florida will most likely be headed to a BCS bowl as well, leaving one spot open. This is where it gets interesting. The final spot in a BCS bowl will probably be going to Oklahoma or Northern Illinois. NIU is looking to become the 1st MAC team to ever play in a BCS bowl. The Huskies must finish in the top 16 of the final BCS standings to qualify. I project them to finish just outside at #17, opening the door for Oklahoma. Here is one final look at where I see your favorite team going bowling before the official pairings come out tonight. (Rankings based on current Ringer Poll)
